Description
Kapr created his own notational system, wich differs from the traditional notation in several items. Typical for Kapr’s notational system is a replacement of the traditional ties by lines and the omission of bar-lines, wich causes for example a different regulation of the accidentals.
This edition of “whistling stories” has been transferred again to the standard notation to make it better readable, especially for young performers. However, this is only a cosmetic change, it doesn’t alter the sound at all. The fifth movement is left almost completely in the original version and makes it possible to get an impression of Kapr’s special notation.
