Blues and soul classics like “A Man’s World“, “When a Man Loves a Woman“, “Ain’t No Sunshine“, “Crossroads Blues“ and “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay“ have been newly recorded by German guitar legend SIGGI SCHWARZ together with the winner of ‘The Voice of Germany’ ANDREAS KÜMMERT and the ‘Blues Award’ Winner and Hamburg local JESSY MARTENS. Kümmert and Martens, who are currently seen as the two best Soul & Blues voices in Germany, give so much feeling, soul and expression into the pieces that the music media are already talking about them as the best interpretations of all time. Siggi Schwarz and the guitarist Geoff Whitehorn (Roger Chapman), his long-time friend and colleague, add the right licks and riffs which are full of feeling. They are accompanied by an outstanding band with RoMi Schickle on the keyboards and the B3, the drummers Markus Ambrosi and ex Prince David Haynes, as well as Raoul Walton and Noah Malcom on bass. RoMi Schickle both recorded and produced this record in the Studio2, Neu Ulm. A truly top-class album!
