Description
I named this opus “Sonate”. This term implies a certain strictness in form, abundance in correlative compository ideas, as well as in various musical characaters (ideas), all subordinating to one dramatic technique. The “Sonate” contains three movements: the weightious first movement, a furiously fast middle movement, and a lyrical “Abgesang” (last part of a stanza).

Pulsations in the first movement, slow-motion structures in the second, and a reference to a song about “time”. The overall subject attached to the “Sonate 1” could be “time”, if it would not be too banal, as all music takes place in time…
