The melody of “Dantsa” was transposed from the example No. 31 of the book by Andreas Fridolin Weis Bentzon: The Launeddas. A Sardinian Folk-music instrument, volume two, Acta Ethnomusicologica Danica No. 1, Akademisk Forlag, Copenhagen 1969. The book collects numerous Examples of Sardinian music for Launeddas, which the author transcribed in the sixties through direct listening to the Sardinian musicians.
