The singer (untrained) could be female or male, could be the pianist or an other individual. The vocal line should be performed at which ever register best suits the singer‘s voice; when written above the stave, the text should be sung on the upper (uppermost) of the pitches (when below on the lower or lowest). The dynamic is basically bold, but not forced, & the lines should be sustained but not legato.
